Laurens brings nearly two decades of experience across general insurance, reinsurance, broking, and insurtech in Southeast Asia, with senior roles spanning Allianz, Aon, Symbo and Capco. His background includes deep expertise in distribution and lifecycle management within specialty insurance, as well as hands-on experience building out digital insurance platforms during his time as CEO Singapore for insurtech Symbo.
He also brings a strong consulting experience, having served as Managing Principal at Capco (Wipro's BFSI consulting arm) advising insurance and financial services clients on strategy, transformation, operations and technology.
Laurens is also active in the Asian fintech community, having served as subcommittee's Chairman at the Singapore FinTech Association (SFA).
Laurens is based in Singapore and holds a Master's in International Business from Grenoble Graduate School of Business.
