Matt Gaschel drives key innovation programs and strategic initiatives, working closely with claims delivery, technology, and other Xceedance teams. Matt brings ~20 years of experience across claims, underwriting, global risk management, and operational transformation.
Before Xceedance, Matt was Chief of Staff at Lemonade, where he led strategic initiatives to automate processes and enhance customer experiences. Matt has held leadership roles at Amazon, directing global insurance programs, claims strategy, captive underwriting governance, and operational performance across multiple product lines and geographies.
Matt spent several years at MetLife and AIG in roles spanning claims management, tech modernization, and large-scale program leadership. This experience gave him a deep understanding of the complexities of claims operations and opportunities to enhance delivery.
Matt holds a Bachelor’s degree from Siena College and is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
