Kedar Karkare, PhD, leads Xceedance's efforts to automate and enhance the use of property data across the insurance industry. He drives the strategy, development, and delivery of AI-driven property intelligence solutions that help insurers turn inspection data, imagery, and property records into decision-grade intelligence across the value chain.
A technology leader at the intersection of science and applied intelligence, Kedar brings deep expertise in AI, data, and product innovation. He has built and led multidisciplinary teams spanning research, data science, engineering, customer experience, strategy, and product development, and is known for assessing the technical feasibility of complex, deep-tech initiatives and translating them into scalable business ecosystems.
Prior to Xceedance, Kedar co-founded a fintech startup and held leadership roles in technology research, AI strategy consulting, and early-stage investing. He holds dual bachelor's degrees in biology and anthropology from UNC Chapel Hill and a PhD in evolutionary biology from the University of Houston.
