Mark Funk is Vice President and Head of Property and Claims Solutions at Xceedance, overseeing property claims operations within the Xceedance Claims TPA. He leads end-to-end business management, including quality assurance, vendor partnerships, training, claims recovery and defense, and virtual estimating, with a focus on scaling claims capabilities and delivering outstanding client experiences.
With 20+ years in property and casualty insurance, Mark brings deep expertise in commercial and personal property claims, specialty insurance, catastrophe claims, quality assurance, analytics, and technology, and has built high-performing teams delivering innovative solutions.
Before Xceedance, Mark held leadership roles at The Hartford, managing commercial and personal property claims, leading catastrophe response teams through major disasters, driving the shift to virtual claim handling, and directing claims quality and improvement.
Earlier, he worked at Farmers Insurance on catastrophe claims and gained global program management experience in e-commerce, including vendor management and training leadership.
Mark holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Economics, from Park University.
