About the Opportunity:
Our Claims TPA is enabled by state-of-the-art, tech-enabled solutions that deliver faster claims services, giving policyholders, brokers, carriers, and MGAs more time to focus on what’s important. Position Title: APD/PD Auto Adjuster – Personal Lines
What you’ll be doing:
- Review and assess claim to determine coverage, liability, and extent of damages.
- Conduct thorough investigations by interviewing insureds, claimants, and witnesses and thoroughly reviewing all claims documentation to ensure an accurate claim outcome.
- Set timely, adequate reserves in compliance with the clients reserving philosophy and methodology.
- Make recommendations for settlement amount, then negotiate/resolve claims throughout the life of the claim including supplements.
- Recommends referral to SIU where appropriate and may assist the SIU in their investigation and settling of the claim.
- Identify opportunities for recovery (Subrogation/ Salvage) and investigate and pursues accordingly.
- Ensure all claims are managed in compliance with state regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Express positive expectations of others and speak to team members in positive terms, work to becoming a resource to other team members.
- Operate process and ensure complete adherence to defined Service Level Agreements with our clients.
- Provide excellent customer service by keeping all involved parties informed throughout the claims process and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Grow and develop skills under our enhanced training program.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Individual Independent State Adjuster licenses required. Ability to obtain proper licensing as required within 60 days of hire.
- 5+ years of Personal lines Auto Insurance experience specializing in adjusting auto claims from low to moderate complexity.
- Ability to determine liability and coverage on complex claims.
- Good written & verbal communication
- Establish effective diaries through the life of the claim.
- Maintain and document claim file activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Familiarity with estimating platforms for material damage claims.
- Ability to work in a high production environment utilizing various technology solutions to manage claims virtually.
- Good analytical reasoning with ability to make autonomous decisions.
