Daniel Ballen

Dan Ballen was appointed to the Board of Xceedance in November 2025 and serves as a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees. Dan is currently a General Partner and Co-Head of Portage Capital Solutions, a leading provider of growth capital to financial services and technology companies worldwide. Throughout his over twenty year investing career, he has served on the Boards of a wide range of public and private companies in North America and Europe.

Prior to Portage, Dan held senior investing and advisory roles at PIMCO, Bain Capital and Pine Brook Partners. He is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Emory University.
