The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Vice President – Lifecycles and Operations Business Development to lead strategic growth initiatives such as modernizing policy administration systems, enhancing underwriting and policy services, streamlining billing, and improving end-to-end operations to unlock measurable business value for our clients. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring deep insurance industry expertise, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to secure complex, high-value engagements.
You will be responsible for building a robust pipeline, driving revenue growth, and positioning Xceedance as the partner of choice for lifecycle and operations transformation services in the P&C insurance sector.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the L&O practice.
- Define growth priorities, market positioning, and differentiation strategies aligned with Xceedance’s global objectives.
- Anticipate and respond to emerging trends, opportunities, and threats across the P&C insurance value chain, particularly in underwriting and policy services modernization.
Business Development Execution
- Build, manage, and close a high-quality pipeline of opportunities with strategic accounts.
- Collaborate with marketing, solutions, and delivery teams to craft compelling value propositions and proposals.
- Lead negotiations for large-scale, multi-year engagements, ensuring win-win outcomes and long-term partnerships.
- Position Xceedance as a trusted partner for underwriting transformation, policy services optimization, and digital-first operating models.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Cultivate deep, trusted relationships with C-level executives at target insurers and MGAs.
- Understand client challenges and transformation roadmaps across underwriting, policy administration, and operational services to position tailored, high-impact solutions.
- Represent Xceedance at key industry forums, conferences, and events to enhance visibility and credibility.
Team Leadership & Development
- Mentor and inspire business development managers and account executives to consistently exceed targets.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture within the business development function.
What You Bring
- 15+ years in business development or strategic sales within the P&C insurance lifecycle — including underwriting, policy services, policy administration, claims, billing, and operational efficiency.
- Proven success in selling to C-level executives, managing complex sales cycles, and delivering multi-million-dollar revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence.
- Demonstrated experience in launching new service offerings or building new market segments.
- Strong existing network of decision-makers across U.S. and global P&C insurers, reinsurers, and MGAs/MGUs.
- Prior leadership role overseeing large, geographically distributed business development teams.
