We are seeking experienced Field Claims Appraisers (1099) to handle disputed property claims in the Cleveland, Indianapolis, and Chicago areas, as well as Northern Virginia. Those interested in other locations across the nation should also apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate, evaluate, and estimate property damage
- Contact insured’s appraiser within 24 hours and schedule inspections per carrier guidelines
- Complete on-site inspections within 30 days
- Negotiate settlements and produce detailed, accurate reports
What We’re Looking For:
- 6+ years of property field adjusting experience
- Active adjuster license
- Strong construction knowledge and Xactimate proficiency (active XactNet address required)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills
- Ability to manage assignments independently and meet strict cycle times
- Willingness to climb roofs and pass a background check
Preferred:
- ·Dispute resolution and appraisal experience
