Job Summary
We are looking for Catastrophe Modelling professionals with 2-4 years of experience in Property, Marine, and Energy portfolios. The role involves exposure data analysis, CAT model validation, risk assessment, account pricing support, and interpretation of model results to support underwriting and portfolio management decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, cleansing, and validating exposure data for CAT modelling.
- Performing account and portfolio-level catastrophe risk analysis for Property, Marine, and Energy (Onshore/Offshore) portfolios.
- Working on exposure management, accumulation analysis, and risk assessment.
- Validating model inputs and outputs to ensure data accuracy and model quality.
- Interpreting CAT model results and providing actionable insights to underwriters.
- Supporting account pricing, renewals, and portfolio monitoring activities.
- Maintaining exposure databases and ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborating with underwriting, risk, and aggregation teams to resolve exposure-related queries.
Required Skills
- 2-4 years of experience in Catastrophe Modelling.
- Hands-on experience with AIR Touchstone (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of CAT modelling concepts and exposure management.
- Experience working on Property, Marine, and Energy (Onshore/Offshore) portfolios.
- Proficiency in SQL, Advanced Excel, and Python/VBA.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.
- Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance processes and underwriting support.
Preferred Qualifications
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience in model validation, risk analytics, or exposure management.
- Insurance/Reinsurance domain knowledge and relevant certifications.
