The ideal candidate will bring a blend of deep technical insurance experience and commercial acumen, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic growth partner.

What You’ll Do: As a Client Partner, you will own the client relationship end-to-end—driving satisfaction, retention, and growth while ensuring seamless service delivery and alignment with client priorities.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders at assigned clients.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for complex, high-value accounts within the Strategic Accounts portfolio.
  • Understand client strategy, operations, and pain points to anticipate needs and design value-driven solutions.
  • Manage the successful delivery of services by aligning client expectations with Xceedance capabilities and ensuring quality execution.
  • Collaborate with internal delivery, business development, and solutioning teams to expand engagements and drive sustainable growth.
  • Lead governance sessions, performance reviews, and executive briefings with assigned clients.
  • Represent Xceedance as an industry thought leader at events, conferences, and professional forums.
  • Partner with the Strategic Leadership team on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term account planning.

What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a strategic, relationship-oriented professional who combines strong insurance or reinsurance technical expertise with proven business development and client management experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in the primary commercial, excess, and surplus lines insurance or reinsurance industry.
  • Background in a technical discipline such as claims, underwriting, actuarial, product management, or IT.
  • Experience with complex sales or business-to-business engagements, including negotiation and executive-level communication.
  • Strong preference for candidates with reinsurance or excess & surplus lines expertise.
  • Proven success in developing and managing long-term client relationships at senior levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence across organizations.
  • Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, able to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Comfortable working remotely with frequent client engagement in-person; travel up to 25%, including international travel as needed.

Education & Professional Designations

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Professional designations such as CPCU, ARe, or similar are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with insurance technology solutions and digital transformation trends is a plus.

What You Can Expect: At Xceedance, we cultivate a culture of trust, ownership, and growth. You’ll work alongside experienced industry professionals who are passionate about innovation and client success.

We offer:

  • Competitive, market-driven compensation
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage from day one
  • Generous PTO and paid holidays, including family leave
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Professional development opportunities, mentoring, and industry engagement support
