Associate Vice President of Delivery
We are seeking a dynamic delivery leader with deep expertise in Duck Creek Technologies and insurance industry to drive successful execution of complex initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record delivering medium to large-scale greenfield transformations, particularly in Duck Creek Suite (Policy, Billing, Claims, and Insights), along with hands-on experience managing ongoing programs and client relationships in the Property & Casualty (P&C) domain. Proven ability to lead diverse teams, navigate complex delivery frameworks, and align strategic objectives with business outcomes is essential.

Person will ensure retention, and growth across existing accounts while cultivating new opportunities through strategic engagement and service excellence.


Skills:

  • Over 20+ years of IT experience, with a strong foundation in software engineering, deep expertise in product and platform development and at least 8+ years in senior delivery leadership roles
  • At least 8+ years of strong insurance and product delivery experience with platforms like Duck Creek in – Policy, Billing, Claims, Insights/Clarity.
  • Ability to pair strategic leadership with hands-on technical depth—driving solution, innovation, and scale. Adept at bridging the gap between high-level decision-making and frontline.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the insurance value chain, especially P&C insurance, with knowhow on Australian regulatory & compliance standards
  • Experience in leading SaaS Duck Creek On-Demand implementations. Conversant with the latest product version nuances i.e. Active Delivery (s).
  • Proven track record in successfully delivering large-medium scale Duck Creek implementations and insurance technology transformations, with experience in cross-geographic & on-shore/ offshore blended model. Preferably in the ANZ region.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile, and hybrid – specifically Duck Creek recommended delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on managing client relationships – New and Existing.
  • Ability to influence C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.


Role and Responsibilities.

The primary role of the Delivery and Program Leader is to leverage the Xceedance brand in expanding the current client base of Product-Implementation on – Duck Creek and other insurance-products in the Property/Casualty industry. With offices around the globe, our inclusive, innovative teams collaborate to continuously evolve our technology and product capabilities to support customers with their IT transformations. Most of the world class P&C Insurers build their core systems on – Billing, Claims, Policy, Clarity, Reinsurance and more, and as SI partner to many of the Insurance-Platforms , Xceedance helps theinsurance companies bring amazing ideas to life quickly and easily with blend of enterprise products and insuretech solutions that blends in their needs and works like they do. Duck Creek as an insurance platform is one of such solutions, and Xceedance is an official System Integration partner of Duck Creek. She will he working across clients to enable Xceedance in solutioning, implementation and delivery of IT products for Insurance companies.

Delivery Leadership

  • Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of Duck Creek implementation projects, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and enforce delivery methodologies, frameworks, and standards to align with organizational goals.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring proper resource allocation, risk management, and issue resolution. This includes managing stability and growth in existing System-Implementation and enable expansion of technology/SI footprint for Xceedance.
  • Ensure delivery adheres to regulatory requirements and maintains full compliance with insurance and Duck Creek product standards.

Strategic and Product Leadership

  • Strategy development and its execution, with a focus on the Australia market.
  • Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify, amplify and position Xceedance differentiators to drive positive sales outcomes.
  • Accountability for Revenue, Profitability, Client Satisfaction, Growth, Innovation, Talent, and Thought Leadership
  • Strategic Initiatives – Stay updated on Duck Creek product roadmaps, insurance trends, and emerging technologies to drive innovation. Attend and participate in duck Creek and Insurance events for Xceedance’ s representation.
  • Define and execute strategies to enhance delivery efficiency and scalability for Duck Creek implementations.
  • Collaborate with Duck Creek partner product and engineering teams to build a go-to-market strategy to align solutions with client needs and market trends.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and collaborate with sales/pre-sales teams to expand accounts.
  • Managing client relationships, right governance, and right metrics

Team Management & Development

  • Build, mentor and lead high-performing delivery teams, including project managers, architects and technical experts.
  • Provide strategic direction and thought leadership to motivate and guide teams toward achieving goals.
  • Drive initiatives for talent development and cross-skilling within Duck Creek technologies.

Financial & Operational Management

  • Oversee project budgets, forecasting and profitability to meet financial targets.
  • Monitor delivery KPIs (e.g., quality, timeliness, client satisfaction) and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Implement cost optimization strategies without compromising quality or performance.
